Bilder im Bahnhof - Musée d'Orsay - Tableau at the Train Station

Das Museum ist ein Bahnhof, oder war es, bis 1939. Erbaut zur Weltausstellung 1900, liefen hier die Züge aus dem Südwesten Frankreichs ein, dann war eine Weile nix und 1977 initiierte der damalige Präsident Valéry Giscard d'Estaing den Umbau und nun beherbergt das Museum Gemälde, Grafiken, Skulpturen, Fotografien, Kunsthandwerk, Design, Architektur und Besucher. Jährlich kommen im Durchschnitt 4 Millionen um Kunst aus der Zeit von 1848 bis 1914 zu sehen. Die Hälfte davon an dem Tag, an dem auch ich kam. Warum bleiben die nicht alle zu Hause und sehen fern? Besonders interessiert hat mich eine Ausstellung mit dem Titel "Dunkle Romantik", dämonische Bilder und Grafiken aus 4 Jahrhunderten und da war ich dann fast allein, das heißt, ich musste mir ein Bild nur mit drei oder vier Leuten teilen. Es hat auch Vorteile wenn man einen teils morbiden Geschmack besitzt.
Aber so sehr lange konnte ich nicht verweilen, denn ich treffe mich mit Candice, und wir gehen zum Konzert. Auf dem Weg noch ein kurzer Bild zum Moulin Rouge, aber wir wollen nicht ins Varieté, uns steht der Sinn nach ernsthafter Unterhaltung, wir gehen zu DIR EN GREY. Das Konzert war noch besser als das in Köln, obwohl ich am Anfang dachte, auwei, Stimme weg, war aber eher Technik weg und dann ist die Band zu Hochform aufgelaufen und der Sänger hat sich selber übertroffen. Super Sache und dann bin ich auch schon weg aus Paris.
Aber da ich ja nun Verwandtschaft da habe, komme ich jetzt öfter. Zuvor fahre ich aber erstmal ans Meer, oder so ähnlich. Es geht nach Hamburg.
PS: Im Musée d'Orsay dürfen keine Fotos in den Ausstellungsräumen gemacht werden, darum sind die meisten Bilder auch nicht von mir, sondern im Netz geklaut.

The museum is a train station, or it was until 1939, built in 1900 for the World Exhibition, was it the place for the trains from southwest France to arrive, than there was nothing, and than in 1977 the former French president Valéry Giscard d'Estaing initiated the alteration and today the museum houses paintings, drawings, sculptures, photographs, crafts, design, architecture and visitors. Every year do come about 4 million people to see the art work from 1848 till 1914, half of them the same day like me, kind of. Why can't they stay at home and watch TV? Most interested I was in an exhibition called " Dark Romance", demonic paintings and drawings from 4 centuries, and here I was nearly alone, means I only had so share one picture with three or four others. It pays out if you have a kind of morbid vein.
But I was short of time, soon I want to meet Candice to go for a concert. On the way a short view at Moulin Rouge, but we don't want to go to a cabaret, we want serious entertainment, we will see DIR EN GREY. The concert was even better than the one in Cologne, only in the beginning I thought, oh dear, the voice vanished, but was more like, ok, the technic vanished, after that the band went to top form and the singer excels his self. Was great and soon I'm on my way home.
But not for long, now as I have kinship in Paris, I will come more often. But first I will go and see the sea, or something like that, I will go to Hamburg.
