Weihnachten total entspannt. Danke, Kate!
And now it's time again for crowded trains, but I got a seat reservation, for me, not for my suitcase, I stow it between my knees and the back rest of the front seat, thanks, that Japanese trains are that commodious and well roomed. But I'm afraid, my co-traveler on the front seat was a bit on the edge because of the massive luggage. But we are only a short time on the way, a bit more than two hours, and the high light was the Fuji, finally. I often traveled that way, but he was always covered in clouds, in mist, in rain or darkness, not today. And of course all windows are blocked with camera people, but comradely we changed and everyone took pictures, and soon we passed by and than we are nearly there, first Yokohama and soon Shinagawa and arrived. When I leave the train, I checked where the natives store their heavy luggage, cool, learned something new each day. One station with the Yamanote Line and nearly at the hotel.
I'm not the right person for fitness, that's why I travel often with a heavy suitcase, that's a good training for the biceps. Than I check in and enter my hotel room at the 14th floor and WOW. Here he is again, the Fuji, far behind the sky line of Tokyo and at the right hand the view at the Tokyo Tower.
Now I'm sitting on my bed and looking at the city I love so much, and think, I'm so blessed, the whole luck in my life and I wonder how I deserve that, I'm doing much, much for other people, but so many others are doing the same without being that lucky. So I'm sitting and thinking, but I don't find any answer on my philosophical questions and so I prepare for my trip to the suburban, because my friend Katrina ask me to come to a little party, there will be tasty food, nice drinks and really good conversation with cool people. Christmas total relaxed. Thanks, Kate!
