Mehr Musik, bitte - LSN vs Diawolf - More Music, please

Nach so viel Natur und Outdoor Aktivitäten muss ich mal was innen machen. Ich gehe Musikhören. Die Band, die mich interessiert heißt LSN, es gab wenig Material im Netz, aber was ich gehört habe, gefiel mir. Japanische Musiker sind multi-aktive und spielen in 3 oder 23 Bands parallel. Das ist möglicherweise nicht schädlich für das Portemonnaie, aber gibt ihnen sicher die Möglichkeit, die verschiedenen Aspekte ihrer Künsterpersönlichkeit auszuleben. 

Auf LSN  bin ich aufmerksam geworden, weil der Bassist der Band, die ich vor ein paar Tagen gesehen habe (https://fraumb-far-far-away.blogspot.com/2018/03/geburtstag-feiern-mit-leuten-die-man.html), das Event auf Twitter mehrfach beworben hat. Da ich seine musikalischen Fähigkeiten sehr schätze, gönne ich mir das. 

Das Konzert kommt daher unter dem Motto ‚Two Face‘, zwei Bands spielen, gegeneinander, nacheinander, miteinander, wie auch immer.

Die Location ist ein winziges Kellerchen, wir würden da vermutlich alten Kram oder Getränkekästen lagern, aber in Tokyo ist Platz eher knapp und ich bin schon in einigen Kellern gewesen, um gute Musik zu hören. Meist sind es normale Wohn- oder Geschäftshäuser und man läuft schon mal dran vorbei, so unscheinbar sind die Eingänge. 

Nach dem geordnetem Einlass, nach Nummern, wie immer hier, dürfen die, die es versäumt haben, ein Ticket vorab zu erwerben, als letzte rein, da hat die Veranstaltung schon begonnen. 

Zweifelsfrei hat die Tatsache, dass in Japan während eines Konzertes nicht gefilmt oder fotografiert werden darf, etwas bezaubernd romantisch Nostalgisches, aber ich find es immer bedauerlich, die Musik nicht mitnehmen zu können, um auch andere damit bekannt zu machen, zumal es von beiden Bands keine CDs gab, soweit ich das übersehen konnte. 

Diawolf war somit auch eine Neuentdeckung, aber meine Favoriten waren eindeutig LSN. Außer dem Bassisten kannte ich keinen der Musiker bis lang und meine eingangs geäußerte Vermutung bestätigt sich hier. Ich hätte hinter dem Mann mit der Katzenmaske nie den Bassisten der elegant-gothic Band vermutet, wenn ich es nicht gewusst hätte. Ein Abend mit guter, handgespielter Rockmusik, wenig Gerede und großer Spielfreude. Danke, Sugiya für den Tipp und die Musik. 

Mit mir unterwegs das Buch ‚Sushi und Stromgitarre‘ von Steff Astan, verkürzt die Wartezeit am Einlass und ist eine Reminiszenz an den Mann, der japanische Bands nach Deutschland holte.

Von meinem Instagram Account, kurze Zusammenfassung der Ereignisse des Abends ganz frisch nach dem Konzert.

After that much nature and outdoor activities I need something inside. I go for music-listening. The band, I’m interested in is LSN, there is not so much of them at the net, but what I saw, I liked. Japanese musicians are multi active and do play in 3 to 23 bands parallel. That could be nice for the wallet but it definitely make sure you live the several aspects of your artist-personality. 

I recognised LSN because the bass player of the band I saw a couple of days ago (https://fraumb-far-far-away.blogspot.com/2018/03/geburtstag-feiern-mit-leuten-die-man.html) was announcing that event on Twitter frequently. And because I really value his musical skills, I go for it. 

The theme of the evening is ‘Two Face’, two bands are playing against each other, one after the other, all together, what ever. 

The location is a tiny basement storage room, we would probably use for old rubbish or beer boxes, but space is limited here and I heard good music in many of those little cellar rooms used as music clubs. Often they are located in normal living or business houses and it’s easy to miss the entry because they are so unremarkable. 

After a well organised admittance, number by number, like they do it here in Japan, those who refused to get the ticket before, have been the last who entered and the party had already been started. 

With no doubt the fact, that filming and picture taking is strictly prohibited here is somewhat enchanting romantic nostalgic, but I think it’s kind of sad, that I cannot take the music with me and introduce it to friends, especially when there are no CDs available, like this evening, as far as I figured it out.

Diawolf was a good find too, but my favourite was definitely LSN. Beside the bassist I don’t know any of the musicians and my guess I was talking earlier about, was approved. I would never have recognised the bass player or the elegant gothic band in the man with the cat mask on his face, if I wouldn’t have known. An evening with very good, hand made rock music, nearly no talk and so much joy of playing. Thanks Sugiya for the tip and of course thank you for the music.
