Der Schrein in den Wolken - Mt. Komagatake - The Shrine in the Clouds

The lady at the cash kiosk at the rope way took her time, that again gave me the time to wait a bit for the next gondola. what gave me the chance to position myself in the begin of the line and get in this way one of the very coveted window places. A guarantee for good pictures from the up-ride. On top a wide plateau spreads on the mountain, like someone cut its peak and in the centre the little Shrine complete with Tori. The remain of the Hakone Shrine, which is now located at the banks of lake Ashi (http://fraumb-far-far-away.blogspot.nl/2016/11/jetzt-fahrn-wir-ubern-see-ubern-see.html). The view is grandiose, on one side the lake Ashi and in the far the Pacific Ocean, the Sagami Bay to be precise, and on the other side the city of Hakone. On one side sunshine, on the other one clouds and wind. Than the flower of a thistle caught my attention and demanded a photographic portrait and as I unbent  myself  again, the world was gone, covered in cotton wool, and somewhat colder and more moist.  The wind blew the clouds over the mountain top and there covered it like in a cape. The noise of the ropeway station was less loud and the sound of the other people wasn't to hear anymore. I had an experience like that only once in my life time, back around 35 years when I was hiking in the mountains of the High Tatra.
Suddenly the Tori appears out of the fog and behind the little Shrine. There is a looking point a bit higher and westbound from where one have a good look onto Mount Fuji. But at that moment one had a good view onto the wisp of clouds. On the other side, direction of Hakone the sky is blue with white cumulus clouds. Many people are standing and implore the clouds to move on. Seems they have an understanding or maybe found a new playground, slowly, very slowly the fog is lifting and step by step he (Mount Fuji) appears again and soon he stand tall before the background of a blue sky with white clouds. Beautiful.
At the ropeway station we have to wait for the next car to arrive and to shorten the time they are playing classical music, today Yoshiki - Without you (classical version). Beautiful too. While going down we are passing the other gondola and when I did look back, I saw the mountain again covered in clouds. I do wish to the people going up now the same spectacular nature phenomena I had had.

Disclaimer: I don´t own the You Tube Video, I posted. It´s an example for the title Without You I mentioned above. It´s available on the album Eternal Melody 2 from Yoshiki
