Sonntags im Park - Yoyogi Koen - Sunday at the park

Hier war ich schon mal (http://fraumb-far-far-away.blogspot.de/2011/12/yoyogi-park.html?spref=bl), und fand es irgendwie nicht so toll, aber ich bin mit Katrina verabredet, also muss ich hin. Hier in Tokyo ist das, was wir Sommer nennen, warm, windstill, trocken, Sonnenschein und Wochenende und Halloween, alles zusammen macht, dass der Park gar nicht wieder zu erkennen ist. Es ist schön, es ist grün, die Rosen blühen, Familien machen Picknick, spielen Ball oder Frisbee mit den Kindern, Trommler trommeln, Tänzer tanzen, die Hunde sind verkleidet, um Trick-or-Treat zu spielen und jemand führt eine Dogge aus. Und ich dachte letztens noch, dass dann alle schreiend weglaufen und der Park gesperrt wird.
Das Gelände gehörte einst irgend einem Adligen, von denen es auch in Japan reichlich gab, dann kam der Meiji Tenno und hat den Park konfisziert und was vernünftiges draus gemacht. Einen Truppenübungsplatz. Hier ist auch seine Grabstelle, am nordöstlichen Ende (http://fraumb-far-far-away.blogspot.de/2011/12/meiji-jingu-kaiserschrein-emporers.html). Es gibt auch noch einen Garten mit unzähligen Schwertlilien, den besuche ich ein anderes Mal. Jetzt suche ich Katrina.

Here in Tokyo is it like what we call summer, it's warm, dry, no wind, sunshine and weekend and Halloween. All together makes that I hardly recognize the park at all, it's beautiful, it's green, roses are blooming, families have picnick, play ball or frisbee with the kids, drummers are drumming, dancers are dancing, dogs in costume are ready for trick or treat, someone is walking a Great Dane. And I thought last time, people will run screaming and the park would be closed than.
Once the area was owned by a noble, which where many in ancient Japan, later it was confiscated by the Meiji Tenno and he made something useful out of it. A marching place for troups.
