Au revoir Paris

Wie bereits erwähnt, hatten wir andere Pläne für den Abend, wir wollten nicht auf dem Friedhof bleiben, sondern auf der Seine sein, eine Bootsfahrt durch das illuminierte Paris machen, zuerst in Richtung Eiffelturm, unter der Alexander-Brücke hindurch, der einzigen schmiedeeisernen, haben wir einen tollen Blick auf den erleuchteten Stahlkoloss, und dann passieren wir den Place de la Concorde mit dem Obelisken, den Louve auf der einen Seite und das Musée d'Orsay auf der anderen (haben wir beide noch nicht von innen gesehen, d.h. wir müssen wieder kommen).Wir sehen die Amerikanische Kirche, die älteste in Europa und die Assemblée Nationale, das  Gebäude, in dem einst die Nationalversammlung tagte, dem Weißen Haus nachempfunden. Nun zurück aus Amerika, unterqueren wir die Pont Neuf, die Neue Brücke, die die älteste in Paris ist (1578), und  kommen dann zu Notre Dame, vom Wasser eben so eindrucksvoll, wie von Land aus. Zurück geht es an der Skulpturenausstellung vorbei und an der Ile St. Louis, sehr teures Pflaster, dann vorbei am Hôtel de Ville, dem Pariser Rathaus, nach ca anderthalb Stunden müssen wir wieder aussteigen, das Boot hat für heute Feierabend - Schade!

Like told before, we had other plans for the evening, we didn´t want to spend it at the churchyard, but at the Seine river, a boat journey through the illuminated Paris, first in direction of Eiffel Tower, under passing the Alexandre Bridge, the only one made of cast iron, and we have a beautiful view at the alight colossus of steel, along the Place de la Concorde with it´s anchient obelisk, the Louvre at one side, the Musée d'Orsay at the other (both we didn´t see already, that means we have to come back). We see the American Church, the eldest in Europe and the Assemblée Nationale, the building housing the first National Assembly, and is build like the White House. Back from America, we are undercrossing Pont Neuf, the New Bridge, that´s the eldest in Paris (1578) and we did reach Notre Dame, from the waterside as impressiv as from in front of it. Our way back along the garden of sculptures and the Ile St. Louis, very expensiv area, passing the Hôtel de Ville, das Paris Townhall and after one and a half hour we have to go, what is very pity.
