Den Wolken ein Stück näher - Sapporo TV Tower - High in the sky

Unweit des Uhrenturms gibt es wieder einen Turm, einen Fernsehturm. Es gibt noch einen Panoramaturm etwas außerhalb der Stadt, der sieht aus wie der Orthanc, deshalb habe ich mich ferngehalten. Dieser Turm hier sieht aus wie der Eiffelturm im Legoland and es gibt einen Fahrstuhl, also muss ich da rauf.
Viel gibts hier gar nicht zu erzählen, der Turm ist 1957 in Stahlfachwerkbauweise erbaut, halb so hoch wie der Tokyo Tower, aber vom selben Architekten, also ca 150 Meter hoch und auf der Höhe von 90 Metern gibt es eine Plattform, die für Touristen geöffnet ist. Im Jahr 1961 dachte man sich, wir gönnen uns mal was und es wurden digitale Uhren in ca 65 Metern Höhe an allen vier Seiten angebracht. Sapporo, die Stadt der Uhrentürme.
Ich habe also schon von höher herabgeschaut, aber der Blick über die verschneite Stadt und die umliegenden Berge ist wunderschön, prächtig illuminiert von einer strahlenden Mittagssonne, die vom blauen Himmel scheint.

I already climbed higher place to look down, but the view at the snow covered city and the surrounding mountains was amazing, splendid illuminated by the midday sun, shining from a beautiful blue sky.
