Shinjuku - West

Bahnhof Shinjuku - 2 Millionen Fahrgäste täglich, bin ohne Probleme ein und aufgetaucht und fand mich im Wald wieder, einem Wald aus Bürotürmen, riesig, hellgrau, ästhetisch. Besonders imposant das Rathaus von Tokyo, das Yasuda Kasai Kaijo Building mit dem elegant geschwungenen Sockel und das Subaru - Building, das ein Netzhemd an hat.
Dort wollte ich auch das Bunka-Gakuen-Kostümmuseum besuchen, an dem ich anfangs vorbei gelaufen bin, weil es nach Karte viel weiter entfernt anmutete, als in der wirklichen Welt. Das ist mir schon mehrfach so gegangen, allerdings nicht in den Metro Bahnhöfen, da ist der Umstieg von einer Linie zur nächsten dann gerne mal 150 m kurz oder mit 560 m etwas länger.
Das Museum war geschlossen, na, dann komm ich noch mal.....

Station Shinjuku - 2 million travelers everyday, I duved and emerged without any problem and came up in a forest, a forest of office highrises, enormous,light grey, esthetic. Most impressiv the Tokyo Townhall, the Yasuda Kasai Kaijo Building with it´s elegant curved plinth and the Suburu-Building, wich is wearing a string vest.
I want to visit the Bunka-Gakuen-Costummuseum there, wich I passed at the begiin, because by looking at the map it seems to be more far away as it was in the reality. That happend to me often, but never inside the metrostations, where the ways from one line to the other are some times 150m short or maybe with 560m a bit longer.
So, the museum was closed, hey, I will come back....
